Fun place to spend a few hours! Got to talk to both owners ( Richard and David).... Really nice guys. We tried the white ( vodka.. Gin... Rum.. White whiskey) and whiskey fights... Both were excellent. We even got the opportunity to try a soon to be released tawny port Barrel aged whiskey... It was excellent!

This place was beautiful! Initially I was surprised on how far off the beaten path it is. You drive quite a ways in on dirt roads to get there. This was really worth the visit during my trip.

The two options for tasting flights are either a clear flight (vodka, gin, white whisky and rum) for $12 or a whiskey flight for $14. At the recommendation of the bartender I went with the whiskey flight. Each pour was extremely unique and I enjoyed taking my time with sips of water between to truly let the flavors envelop. The Michigan White Whiskey was a standout for me because it was so different than the others. It had a bitter kick to it that made it very memorable. The Bourbon finished in maple syrup barrels was also a standout, though everything was amazing.

Ended up with a whiskey bottle for me and vodka and rum as gifts for my son in law and daughter.... We'll be here again

A cool off the beaten path place to enjoy some samples of spirits or to have an excellent mixed drink.

In addition to the tastings they also have a vast cocktail menu, mules and hot toddys as well as small plates. The cocktails ranged from $8-$11. I tried the salted maple old fashioned which was beyond delicious. They also have a food truck outside where you can order BBQ. The land the distillery sits on was just gorgeous to look at. I highly recommend you check this out if in the area!

This is a great place! If you think you're lost, you're almost there! Great drinks, great snacks, amazing service. Loved it. And was in fantastic company with my beautiful wife.

I cannot say enough good things about the Iron Fish! We visited from the Detroit area and just had the best time. Craig was our tour guide and was just full of all sorts of little tidbits of info. We spoke at length with Richard, one of the owners, and he was just marvelous. So informational, and you can totally tell that he is so passionate about what they are doing there. And it definitely shows in the spirits they are bottling. If you get a chance, try their Maple syrup... It is absolutely divine. The atmosphere and the staff were so so warm and inviting that we could have stayed all night. We cannot wait to get back up there again and see how they have grown!
