I really enjoyed my visit to the Art Park while staying at Crystal Mountain. This park is tucked just beyond the ski slope about a half mile drive up the hill. It reminded me a lot of Storm King in NY. There is a parking area and maps at the foot of the trails, with several trail options varying in length. The longest was about 1.5 miles and a bit of an uphill hike & the shortest about .30 mile. This is a beautiful way to start the morning in leu of a gym workout. I really enjoyed discovering each piece of art along the way-my favorite piece was the Bonnet. It was a very serene experience and well done.
This was fun. We went thru at night in the dark with our flash lights and went all the way to the fort. Good times. We had a group of 21 of us and all ages from 7 to 50
Loved the hike with my 5 year old. Plenty if great spots to hang back and take in nature. The fort was his favorite! Great spot for kids and families
A lovely nature walk with art interwoven into the landscape. It's a great place for children because it is outdoors on well kept trails. I will do it again.
Very cool stop on a road trip home. I was not expecting it to be as large as it is. Unfortunately a large portion is off limits to anyone unable to walk/hike up steep hills. A very immersive experience that was only enhanced by it's outside location. Everything was very clearly labeled
